Being off the beaten path in Italy always ends up being rewarding! The age of structures in Italy is mind boggling. I have always had a hard time explaining to my friends the scale we are talking about when they look through my travel photos.<BR/><BR/>If you enjoy history the simple act of standing in the middle of one of those historic sites is awe inspiring.
