Other than equipment and technical aptitude, personality of shooter is the most vital. If you are a wallflower or consumed with not offending (me) you simple can't do well. I will say that when you don't know anyone being a good photog is much easier. Telling people to get to get together is much easier as is getting in the right spot. The thing that I found worked best for getting group photos was to say "the bride and groom requested a photo of you" people are generally happy to give the bride her wish at her reception even if they don't like their photos taken.Derek Nnoreply@blogger.com
